Our Preschool Curriculum

We use Creative Curriculum Teaching Strategies GOLD, which is an approved curriculum through the Maryland State Department of Education. This curriculum is based on the development of the children. It consists of a variety of activities in our day including sensory, social/emotional, cognitive, fine/large motor, music/language, and creative arts, through dramatic play, free play, and group play. We also feature an anti-bias curriculum which teaches children about their culture as well as others, and encourages children to experience people of diverse cultures working together as unique parts of a whole community. As your child goes through the program, we introduce numbers, colors, letters, shapes, and other academic information such as S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math). Teachers will emphasize learning on “school skills”, such as writing their name, sign language, address, and telephone numbers, dressing themselves, and tying shoes. Lesson Plans are posted in the classroom along with a daily schedule and may change order to accommodate the children’s interests. The classroom is set up with centers which include blocks, dramatic play, library, arts & crafts, technology, and writing.

Encouraging excellence and
exceeding expectations

Play is important to children, and so is learning. During their development stage, we allow them to learn together with others their age. Through this, they can enhance their skills and enjoy their playtime without having to miss a huge part of their childhood. We are sure that they will love our bright, clean, and secured facility. It is designed to improve their mood, excitement, and socialization.
